FESTIVAL
NOTE:
As of March 17, there has been a change of plans re: the
SERIALFEST 2010 FILM FESTIVAL
SerialFest 2010 has been
postponed pending the completion of legalities and
paperwork related to acquisition of permission of rights to
an ultra-rare, extremely desirable long-lost classic sound
serial recently acquired by the Squadron, in addition to
work done on the newly-discovered original of DRUMS OF FU
MANCHU. We have decided to wait for a second party's
confirmation of our right to distribute the rare serial on
DVD before we officially schedule this event, or, possibly
replace it with a series of events. When the necessary work
is completed and decisions have been made, more information
will be posted on this page.
In the meantime you may wish to plan to attend the
MEMPHIS FILM FESTIVAL
in Olive Branch, Mississippi on June 3-5
at which the great serial
DAREDEVILS OF THE WEST will be shown with permission from
the BYU film archive as well as the color version of
ZOMBIES OF THE STRATOSPHERE. Guests there will include
Clint Walker, Will Hutchins, Hugh O'Brien and Ty Hardin,
and the Squadron is likely to be represented there
also.
